Description
Workshops that are short on floor space often have to choose between a hoist that fits and a hoist that gives proper access. The CM360 is built for exactly that situation. It sits just 110mm off the floor when lowered, and lifts to a working height of 2030mm.
What it suits
There is no mechanical connection between the scissors, which gives clear access between the platforms while the vehicle is in the air. Being a scissor design there are also no posts or arms beside the car, so the doors stay unobstructed.
The 110mm lowered height suits low vehicles and drive-over situations, where a conventional two post or a taller scissor would not clear. Drive-on ramps are made from tear plate for grip with wet wheels, and there is no fixed drive-on direction, so the control box can be installed on either side of the scissors to suit your bay.
It lifts up to 3,600kg, with a lifting and lowering time of approximately 40 seconds.
Installation and power
The CM360 is available surface mounted, or with flush recess-mounted ramps as an option for a completely level floor. An inground installation drawing is included in the document set below.
It runs a 3.0kW motor. Standard supply is three phase (7A), and a single phase (20A) option is available, so it can be specified to match the supply your workshop already has. Let us know which you need when you enquire.
Full dimensions and foundation requirements are set out in the specification drawing, available under Manuals & Brochures on this page.
Options and accessories
- Single phase power supply
- Flush (recess) mounted ramps
- Cross bar for lifting 4×4 vehicles
- Range of rubber blocks
- Custom colours (standard is black platforms with red scissors)
Warranty, parts and support
The CM360 is covered by a 3 year warranty, and spare parts are stocked locally in Australia for dispatch within 24 working hours. Validating the warranty requires proof of a current maintenance contract.
The full document set is available under Manuals & Brochures on this page: the installation and operation manual, the spare parts list, the specification drawing and the product brochure. Replacement parts can be identified by model and serial number through the Spare Parts Finder.
If the CM360 is not the right fit
If you need a hoist you can move between bays, the CM350-LS mobile scissor hoist lifts 3.5 tonne from a 105mm profile. Note it is mid-rise, lifting to 1000mm rather than full height, so it suits different work. For dedicated wheel alignment work, the CM5500 wheel alignment scissor hoist is purpose built for it at 5.5 tonne.
